MIDWEEK LEAGUE RACE – TRENT PARK
Trent Park Running Club invite you to the 4th Race of the 2026 Season on
Thursday 2nd July, starting at 7.45pm.
Location: Trent Park Country Park, Cockfosters Entrance, EN4 0DZ
Time: 7.45pm Start
Course: 10k of rolling park and woodland (same as in 2024 edition)
Surface: Grass and gravel paths. Shoe choice will depend on conditions
Facilities: Public toilets available near café and car park area
Kit: Unsupervised area around the start and finish.
Travel: Parking is available within Trent Park. We have managed to get additional
parking at Southgate Hockey Centre so there are 2 options for parking, via Cockfosters
entrance to the Park and at Southgate Hockey Centre via Snakes Lane entrance. Neither of
these locations will cover the full requirement but the use of both will be sufficient.
Public transport is also a good option with two underground stations in close proximity.
Cockfosters,10 minutes walk, and Oakwood, 25 minutes walk, use of public transport is
strongly recommended.
If you do intend to drive, please car-share as much as possible

Additional Notes:
- Please be aware that wearing headphones, including bone induction, or other impediments to hearing is not permitted. Runners will be disqualified.
- Please be mindful that this is a public park and we therefore share it with many other users, including dog walkers and a small number of cars, please take care.
- Many of the paths are uneven, with tree roots and some loose surfaces. The start and finish are on uneven grass covered ground, so care is required.
- First aid will be present. Please report any issues to the nearest marshal who will assist
- Running is an intense physical exercise. Please do not run if you feel unwell or have any injuries.
- Please do not drop litter on the field or on the course and bring your own bottle if possible, water will be available on the course and at the finish.
- If you wish to cool down please DO NOT run against the flow of incoming runners there is plenty of park available.
- Please ensure you can complete the course within 90 minutes.
