The first of 4 Thursday evening handicaps, the Nightcap., which form part of the 2023 series.
The rain, which held off for the race, lead to some muddy conditions in places, 33 runners took part.
The first home was Jim Arrowsmith, in 18:30, then the second was Scott Aiken in 19:35, with Ben Allen third in 19:36.
The first lady was Shulli Clinton-Davis, 23:07.
Age grading these throws up some interesting results as always.
The current tables can be found on the handicap page and photos from the race are in the gallery.
The next race is Saturday 27th May, see our calendar for updates.
