Well done to all those who raced at the Mob Match on Wednesday. This week we have the Track Mile on Wednesday and the Nightcap on Thursday, so lots to look forward to.

On Tuesday we dont have the use of the track as there is a football match on. The sessions will all take place from Trent Park

  • The mixed abilities session will meet at 19:00 for a group warm up and a short session for anyone wanting to warm up their legs before Wednesday.
  • The main session will be 8-12x 400m with 75 seconds recovery. Anyone racing on Wednesday may wish to take this session a little easier and only complete 8 reps.
  • All abilities are welcome. Please refer to Coacha or WhatsApp for details.

On Wednesday the Track Mile is taking place at Donkey Lane. Good luck to all those taking part. On Thursday we have the July Nightcap in the park followed by some drinks at the SHC.

On Saturday there will be the usual offerings at the club. It has been great to see that Chris Thompson and Peter Ley’s sessions are proving very popular, with a mixture of hill efforts and fartleking in the park, or drills and intervals on the hockey pitch.

On Sunday, as usual certain groups will arrange their own informal long runs at various distances and paces, or there is the strides session in the park.
