On a very soggy Saturday morning in July, 16 brave pairs of runners took part in a fun but wet treasure hunt.

The idea was to answer 20 observational questions in the quickest time and the answers were to be found all over the park.

The runners had to work out a strategy first to answer the questions, as they were all mixed up on the sheet.

The 16 pairs then braved the elements and came back at various times. Many of the pairs got over 15 +out of 20. Well done!

The winners were:
1st: Anja and Robyn Greenwood with 19 /20 in the fastest time of 70 minutes
2nd: Linda and David Grindall with 19/20 in 85 minutes
3rd Nikki Chodurek and Kathy Allman with 18/20 in 80 minutes

There were pastries, teas and coffees after to celebrate their success.
