Over the past couple of months a group of leaders and coaches have been discussing how we can help improve the sessions available for members. Over the next couple of months we will share regular updates on Training Programs, Group Club sessions, Leader development and how to gain support in your own personal goals.

One area we are looking to improve is how we can improve the consistency of runs available and support members choose the right run to join. We are looking to introduce 2 running groups that support members who want training runs ideally paced at 20-25 and 25-30 5km pace i.e. between the Transformers and Sub-20’s. Our goal is to ensure 4 different paced groups are available every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday when there are no competitions e.g. Club Handicap.

Over time it is hoped that the 2 new groups will develop a strong identity and to aid this we would like your help in naming the 2 groups. If you have any ideas for one or both groups please e-mail [email protected]. We look forward to hearing how creative you are.

I can also confirm that Coacha will remain as the main form of communication of club runs as it is an accessible online booking system that supports all members including juniors, used by over 20,000 Coaches & Leaders. Adult members are encouraged to sign-up for runs to aid organisation but it will not be compulsory. Coacha will continue to be reviewed to help enhance the value of your membership.

On behalf of everyone can I thank the leaders and coaches who continue to give up valuable time to support us all with our running.
