Well done to all those who raced at Stevenage on Thursday. We had some good results for the club. This week we have the Midweek League Mob Match at Welwyn on Wednesday for those who fancy another flat and fast 10K.
On Tuesday the track is available and we will continue with preparation for the Track Mile.
- There is a session at the track suitable for all abilities which will do 3x 600m with 90 seconds recovery.
- The group will meet at 19:00 for a warm up and the main session will start at 19:20.
- There will be intervals sessions leaving from SHC at different times and these will be advertised on Coacha/relevant WhatsApp groups.
On Wednesday there is the MWL race at Welwyn starting at 19:30. On Thursday we will meet at 19:00 for club notices and announcements of runs going out. There will be a range of runs on offer, although the club may be quieter than usual after Wednesday’s run, so please refer to WhatsApp and Coacha for confirmation of which groups are running.
On Saturday there will as ever be certain hills sessions on offer, which aim to improve stamina and speed when hill running. These sessions incorporate a mixture of hill efforts, fartleks and shorter, sharper hill sprints and are suitable for all abilities.
On Sunday, certain groups arrange informal longer runs of various distances and routes. Alternatively, there is the strides session taking place in the park.
